A click is marked unique when the same privacy-safe visitor identifier has not clicked the same tracked link during the previous 24 hours.

The platform does not store raw IP addresses. It creates one-way keyed hashes for abuse prevention and aggregate reporting. A visitor may be counted again after the rolling window ends or when their browser environment changes.

Bots

Known crawlers and preview services are filtered from member totals by default. A link owner can enable bot tracking when those requests are useful for diagnostics.
