Why an iframe can be blank
Sponsored placements can display the advertiser website inside an iframe. Some websites explicitly prevent this by sending security headers such as X-Frame-Options or a Content Security Policy frame-ancestors directive.
The traffic-exchange platform cannot override security headers sent by the advertiser's website.
What advertisers can do
- Allow the traffic-exchange domain in the destination site's framing policy when appropriate.
- Use the Open Advertiser/Visit Website fallback to test the destination directly.
- Choose a landing page that permits the intended embedding behavior.
