Use a stable value

Pass your own non-sensitive stable member identifier in the wall uid parameter. The same user should receive the same value on later visits.

What uid powers

The visitor ID connects clicks, conversion history, hidden offers and CPX user mapping back to the correct end user.

  • Do not use a different random UID on every page load.
  • Avoid exposing passwords, emails or other unnecessary personal data in the UID.
  • Do not reuse the same UID for unrelated users.

Missing UID

If the wall is configured to require a visitor ID, earning actions are disabled until a valid UID is supplied.
