Publisher funds
Publisher balance contains approved earnings available for payout. Publisher hold contains earnings or payout amounts temporarily reserved for review or processing.
Advertiser funds
Advertiser balance is money deposited for buying CPA traffic. When a campaign is submitted, its budget is reserved in campaign escrow so the same dollars cannot fund multiple campaigns at once.
Why this matters
Separating these balances makes refunds, reversals, payout review and campaign accounting auditable. Closing a campaign can return unused escrow to the advertiser balance without touching publisher earnings.
